  16. UFOs seen hovering near Hinckley railway station.

  18. Late night shoppers at Hinckley`s Food Giant supermarket have sparked 
  19. an investigation after reporting sightings of unidentified flying 
  20. objects hovering around the adjacent railway station on Thursday night.

  22. Several people were reported seeing a glowing ball of light just a few 
  23. feet from the ground over the nearby railway lines.

  25. The object was said to be making buzzing sounds and throwing smaller 
  26. luminous balls of light into the sky for at least five minutes.

  28. However, investigators from the Leicestershire UFO study project who 
  29. are probing the claims, have so far drawn a blank.

  31. Their spokesman said "We have no idea what this phenomenon may have 
  32. been. It disappeared suddenly and left no traces. The guess is that it 
  33. may have been some form of rare electrical manifestation."

  35. He added "We believe that other people must have seen the glow, who 
  36. have not yet reported their sighting. We would very much like to hear 
  37. from them."
